hey all!
i apologise for the lack of updates yeah?
Saturday
went new year visiting after my haircut.
dq's hse is stuffed with chinese antiques!
and it's almost a definite,
that u will end up knocking into the furniture.
which obviously results in a bruise.
went jack's hse and learnt how to play mj.
it's actually not as boring as i thought it would be.
i'm kinda interested in it right now.
shall try to pick up sme useful skills from my mom.
we also tossed yusheng at jack's.
his mom was nice to cook us dinner.
took bus home after that.
Sunday
woke up just in time to have lunch with dad.
he had a flight to catch at 3pm.
lunch was hotpot rice with soy sauce.
there were side dishes such as veggies and meat,
it tasted mediocre to me.
but both my parents like it though.
so i guess there must be sth wrong with my taste buds.
party at aunt susanne's in the evening.
the food was as expected,
extremely scrumptious.
she's a great cook.
i especially liked the cold appetiser.
the sweet and sourness were in perfect harmony.
ingenious creation i would have to say.
had a chat with my cousins.
regarding poly and other related stuff.
it was how i would say,
and expected topic?
what else is there to discuss?
well, my other same aged cousin is going to TP.
i'm relieved!
i dont wna go to the same sch as her.
it'll feel like i'm under surveillance 24/7.
went home early,
cause mom was eagerly awaiting dad's call.
Monday
got awoken by my handphone at 11am.
which was a lifesaver in this case.
cos i was supposed to meet my friends at 11.15am.
rushed to prepare.
ironically, most of the others were late as well.
though not as late as kz and i. >.<
left kovan at 11.30am,
and headed towards somerset.
caught the 12.35pm movie screening
of The Wedding Game.
yes, that movie flick with Fann Wong and Christopher Lee.
and no, i'm not a fan of any superstars.
the only reason why we decided to watch
The Wedding Game over Love Matters,
was because we found out that
Love Matters didnt have the telephone part
with the "Ring Ring... Yellow, blue is this..." part.
it was only screened for advertisement purposes.
but overall,
the movie was funny.
i especially liked the part when Lee
hung all of Wong's soft toys on the ceiling.
to which Wong went into a frenzy
and gave Lee a WWE styled thrashing.
headed to takashimaya's kinokuniya next.
edwin wanted to purchase a book at there.
gosh, the place is humongous!
one can practically get lost inside.
plus they provide a wide variety of books,
ranging from the usual fictional fantasies,
to japanese and korean manga!
there are also fossils on display!
saw a book covering Robert Pattinson.
for those who still do not know.
he's the main male lead in the movie Twilight.
i swear he' seriously overrated.
i mean, he's not even the least bit handsome to boot!
loitered in kinokuniya for quite awhile,
till the guys felt hungry.
so we decided to dine at pastamania.
i wasnt that hungry,
but i had an irritating blocked nose,
so i simply ordered a mug of hot cappuccino.
dq was being extremely whiney that day.
her hands were itching for more mj action.
we all gave in and headed to jack's.
Gloria Jeans Coffee staff were handing out free samples.
so we all took one.
it was a berry mix i think.
there was a hint of strawberry and raspberry.
everyone liked it.
i think i lost a few bucks after mj.
i did game a couple of times.
but it was mostly 1 tai wins.
biggest winner of the day was kunzi.
she had 5 tais, which is the max.
and her winning card was zhi-muo.
so everyone ended up paying her $6.40.
overall she won over 20 bucks!
too bad for her,
cause we werent playing real cash.
went home after that.
took bus again.
we were all complaining about our day's travelling fees.
no more student fares for us,
cause we didnt go JC. :(
mrt alone costed me $1.92 from somerset to sengkang.
usual price was $0.45 i think.
bus fares rose from $0.45 to $0.71,
which is basic fare.
meaning, if u rode from one terminal to another,
it'll cost u more than $0.71.
gosh, i seriously didnt know SG's cost of living is so high.
lucky for me,
mom agreed to sponsor my travelling fees.
reached home at arnd 9pm?
cooked instant noodles for dinner,
and watched a couple of animes with my brother.
he bought a new ps3 game called
Lord Of The Rings: Conquest.
it's not that bad a game.
the game fighting style is similar to that of Beowolf's.
except Beowolf sucks a lot.
worst game that was ever created.
the purchasal of this game was quite timely.
i was craving to watch the LOTR trilogy again.
Tuesday
woke up at arnd 12.18pm.
didnt sleep well last night.
maybe it's cause i slpt with my mom.
her mattress is so hard!
read a couple of new oneshots.
and watched some new animes.
and i have to digress,
Skip Beat's latest episode is great!
shall'nt provide any spoilers here.
go watch it for yourself. (:
i might consider picking up where i left on toradora.
the latest episodes seem to be rather interesting.
oh, and those who liked Air Gear.
you might like a new anime called RideBack.
both have very similar concepts,
except each features a different gear.
which in RideBack's case,
is a motorcycle.
alrights,
my brother is coming home soon.
i cant wait to play LOTR: conquest's multiplayer with him!
