GUESS WHAT EVERYONE?!
www.eun-san.blogspot.com HAS FINALLY REACHED ITS 100TH POST!~
WOOHOO!!!
i jst realised it when i posted my music entry.
seems like just ytd that this blog was created.
okay that was a figure of speech.
it really felt like a week or two since the creation.
well i guess with two people posting.
the time required to reach that magical number 100,
doesnt really take long?
okay, so before i begin my post about today.
since 100 is a magical number,
let's hope it'll really do us some magic yeah?
here's a big shoutout to all my sec4 cohort friends.
ALL THE BEST FOR O LEVEL RESULTS!!
so like i said in one of my previous posts.
i went to NP today.
it wasnt as horrible as expected.
save for the part where i had to practically
CRAWL outta bed.
that was horrible. >.<
i'm not exactly an early riser.
oh did i mention that the bus ride took us 1hr+?
that was horrible too.
i got bus sick.
cos my silly dad went to close the aircon shutters.
not exactly a great start to the day.
but the experience at the campus itself was great!
and i mean it!
we went into the convention hall.
and the lecturers were super friendly.
and explained abt the courses to me.
the convention was called course counselling.
so i thought i'd end up sitting at a table with my dad and a lecturer.
BUT NO. i was wrong.
the best part was that they were giving out
FREE popcorn, candyfloss and kachang puteh.
i mean, the other polys i've visited charged us for the same food.
and whn we left the convention hall.
they led us to take this guided tour bus.
which is really helpful.
even though we had a map printed.
but the campus is so big.
walking would be so tiring.
my dad as usual.
was being weird.
cos there was a bunch of people at the humanities sch.
and they were waving bright yellow balloons
screaming WELCOME! WELCOME!
and my dad wave back to them!!!!
omggggg. and the tour guide in the bus snickered.
which is kinda cute.
cos he didnt do it in a sarcastic way.
you cld tell he was genuinely laughing becos it's funny.
we alighted at the schools of FMS.
which stands for Film and Media Studies.
it was super cold.
but apparently the temp has to be very low.
if not the lighting equipment will overheat.
and it costs a bomb to have it replaced.
and our guide said sth really funny.
"the equipment are more important than the students suffering from the cold."
which is true in this case!
we visited the radio recording room.
which is super cool.
cos the equipments there are those that are used by mediacorp stations.
most note worthy was the visit to the tv recording room.
where interviews are conducted.
and you get to pretend to be a news correspondent.
or a news anchorman.
headed to the school of Humanities next.
yes, the people holding yellow balloons.
i thought that school would interest me.
but apparently, the school is filled with overly jolly people.
but who can blame them?
the courses there requires them to be so.
like psychology and community services,
child psychology etc.
not really my cup of tea.
so we left as spending like 10 mins there.
didnt go the the science blocks.
but i heard they were giving out really awesome souveniers.
namely DNA pendants.
the name alrdy sounds so damn awesome!
and you get to make your own!
so it's entirely unique.
super cool.
but we decided not to go
cos i was really tired by then.
walked out of the campus.
and saw that they had a Techno fair and a CCA Fiesta.
the latter is really cool.
cos they were teaching people archery.
sth that the other polys didnt manage to achieve.
they only let their members show. =(
bused home with 74.
alighted at hg bus interchange.
homed, and slept.
LOLS. i was really really tired.
so yeah.
that pretty much sums up my day.
it was great.
love NP.
a pity it's located so far away. =/
anyways, i'm off to dinner!
toodles everyone~
SANDY.
