The Big Question

yes, it is as the title states.
i have a big question,
which i would like my dear readers to give comments on.
should i or should i not cut my hair short?

if u dont already know,
i treat my hair very dearly.
my daily routine of washing hair includes conditioner,
using specially formulated hair products,
which make hair smooth and silky etc etc.
hair is one of the most important traits of a woman!
my male counterparts probably wouldnt understand,
but i'm sure the females out there empathise with me.

my dad has never been a fan of me growing long hair.
but i guess the real reason why i took a liking to lengthy hair,
can be accredited to my 'Alice-In-Wonder-Land' hairdo in sec 1!
which all the posh girls in class used to poke fun at.
and also because guys are mainly attracted to long haired girls. -.-
well, you can say i was naive to think that way.

anyway, i've been thinking lately.
having sported long straight hair for a couple of years.
isnt it high time to call for a change?
which is where the idea of cutting my hair came about.
i've done some research on short hairdos for round faces.
okay, i know i dont look anywhere near those superstars,
but i'm just using them as references.
in any case, here are the results!

Short/Medium Hairstyles

Long Hairstyles

well, my personal favourite from each section would definitely be
Kelly Clarkson's and Ashley Olsen's look.
i like Paris Hilton's hairdo as well.
but she's not a round face type.
just added her in cause i can get my stylist to modify the style to suit me.
i mean, if i want her hairdo that is.

i'm considering cutting long soft bangs if i dont get short hair.
oh, and for the record,
the kind of bangs i'm refering to is NOT the kind of bangs,
that is often sported on china/japanese dolls.
not the straight thick bangs.
but soft, sideswept bangs as pictured above.

oh, and does anyone have good recommendations for a hairstylist?
i'm currently leaning towards going Salon Esprit,
as i've got a 10% discount there cause i'm a member at Esprit.
some say Monsoon and Twister by Monsoon are quite good as well,
since it is a fact that they serve some B lister local celebs.
not interested in HDB salons thank you!
wouldnt want a horrible hairstyle for Chinese New Year. XP

so what do you people think?
leave a comment on the tagboard!
or pm me on msn okay? (:

SANDY.
PS: of course it's Sandy! Eun would NEVER think of cutting her hair short. i think? LOLS!
